Privacy coins in Florida

In Florida you can buy Zcash on all the major US exchanges. Monero is generally not available on regulated US platforms. Florida is a large, generally welcoming crypto market. The one new wrinkle for 2026 is HB 505, which adds tighter rules for crypto ATMs starting July 1, 2026, including a daily cap for new kiosk users and a refund window for scam victims. Regular exchange buyers are not affected.

What to know

If you use a crypto ATM in Florida, you are capped at $2,000 per day for your first seven days with a given operator (that is how the law defines a new customer). After seven days, the cap lifts. The law also requires kiosks to offer a full refund on your first transaction if you can show you were scammed. This does not affect regular exchange buyers.
